Reefing newb
An LFS in Oakland - across the bay from where I live, so one I'm unfamiliar with - heartily recommended the Longnose Hawfish - and said reef-safe... but the Doctors say "with caution"... what do yins think?

Hawk fish are predators. That being said. They will readly snack on anything that will fit in their mouth.
So long as their small and your other fish and shrimps are bigger than they are,you shouldnt have any problems.
They are a cool fish and spend a lot of time pirched on a rock looking around, just like a hawk does.

''With caution'' is good enough reason for me to say not reef safe.I never had that particular hawkfish but I had a flame and spotted hawk.It ate my maroon clown which was pretty big.Be careful having small fish and shrimps with those fish.
