FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty foods, finely chopped fresh or frozen shrimp, mysid shrimp, vitamin enriched foods, frozen fare for herbivores, zooplankton. Feed min. 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Usually does not bother invertebrates.
CAPTIVE CARE - Prone to contracting ich and other skin parasites, susceptible to lateral line and fin erosion, provide branching corals or other shelter sites, not overly aggressive and is a good community fish except for close relatives, adults must be given plenty of room if more than one is to be kept, juveniles can be kept in groups. Other tangs and more aggressive fish may pick on this specimen.
