Feb 5, 2011 #1 K Kazarko Reefing newb I was feeding my tank and just saw one of my peppermint shrimp rip apart and eat an amphipod. Is this normal behavior for that species?

Feb 5, 2011 #5 K Kazarko Reefing newb Definitely, that shrimp methodically removed all its legs then cut off a segment of the body at a time going nom nom nom. I would hate to be an amphipod, or any pod really. So many things eat them.
