Well they are hit and miss, i would start with one, and then maybe add them up if he cant do it. But i wouldnt really go over two in one tank, that would be my limit, just because I would not feel right putting more in. So for you i say 3 in the tank at one time???
Cant really put a number on it mate.

I've had good results with peppermint shrimp eating pests. Good luck!

Actually i would put in 6. They will eat other stuff in the tank so they wont starve. But i would not feed your tank very much so that they are hungry and go looking for the pest nems instead of waiting for something to float by. Also, the peps will only eat apitasia pest nems.

Does anyone know if peps kill zoas? my pep keeps stabbing at my zoas and I was wondering if hes just picking the garbage in the nooks and crannys or if hes hurting the zoa.

My pep doesn't do anything except hang out under rocks. Occasionally I see him during feedings, but I don't think hes eating aiptasia... I still have to hit a couple with Aiptasia-X on occasion.

Ya, not all peps will eat apitasia, that is why we recommend you get several. It increases the odds one will eat it.

Slightly off topic, but I just found the biggest aiptasia I've ever seen in my sump...I swear the fully extended oral disc was the size of a silver dollar....On the plus side, he was very easy to nail with the Aiptasia-X ;-)

I can sting and choke out your corals, and for some of the more delicate fish sting them to death as wel
