Sick Candy Canes

My Candy Cane corals are looking a little bleh... Not open at all, and it seems they might be dying. Not sure whats going on they look the same as they did 3 days ago, not opening at all. How long should it take them to open or what signs should i look for to monitor them?

Water params? If all is well and something just pissed them off, they should open up soon. Candy canes should bounce back quickly unless something is seriously off.

Do you have a pic? Also, like mentioned, check all your parameters.

Are they new? What level of the tank are they in?

I found that the ones I have near the bottom are way fatter and plumper than the ones I have on the top. But then some days the ones on the bottom will just stay tight all day I think if anything touches them they get ticked off.

New additions so i expected them to be closed a bit, just me being over cautious probably.

Ant chance they're splitting? Mine always close up for a few days right before they split.

No idea, never worked with canes before, I don't see any visible spots that looks like splitting though. I'll do some research on it and get back to you.

It took mine almost a week to ever open at all after I got them home. I am sure they are fine they need to adjust.

I think they need a bit more time to adjust to their new surroundings! :)
