Some kind of polyps or what?

We have 1 of these in our display and about 15 of these in our refugium and just cannot identify what the heck these are! The one in our display has been there for a month and our lights have turned the center neon green. The little tentacle things wiggle and they close up too. Anyone have the slightest idea? Oh, and are they bad to have?

They look like majano anemones. It's a pest anemone very similar to aiptasia. You should kill them ASAP. They will take over your rocks quickly and will sting and kill other things they touch. You can get rid of them using Aiptasia X.

Someone just posted pics of one eating zoas. And if you let them stay for the littlest bit, theyre a bitch to get rid of.

Aiptasia Rx works, but I feel like you have to use a lot. And it clumps if you let it sit and dont shake it every few days. Ill buy AiptasiaX next time, plus it has more accurate syringes.

Should be fun.. the one in the display is a little bigger than a pencil eraser and some of the ones in the fuge are tiny! Well, I guess it's time to get rid of them tonight.. thanks!
