SIZE - 27.5" (70 cm)

CAPTIVE CARE - Acclimates well to captivity, will greedily accept chopped fresh or frozen seafoods, other frozen preparations, freeze dried krill. Keep only one per aquarium (prone to fight with each other), will eat any fish it can swallow whole including cleaner wrasse, will defend its preferred hiding places, will place an elevated stress on filtration systems, can be kept with other groupers of the same size, introduce at the same time or the smallest 1st. This fish is too large but for the largest systems, if startled will dash about into glass and most likely damage itself.
