Tiger Goby (Elacatinus macrodon) eating blue legged hermits?

Will tiger gobies (E. macrodon) eat blue legged hermit crabs? I just started stocking my, soon to be, reef tank and I started with 4 blue legged hermit crabs and they were healthy and happy for 4 days then I added a tiger goby and my crabs are disappearing from their shells. The tank is new but it doesnt seem like an ammonia issue but I was sure this goby would be okay....

Tiger Goby wouldnt do anything, but did you find your issue?

Yes, i'm so new! The hermits were just swapping shells with shells in the sand so I thought I was seeing dead hermits. :)
