If I'm looking at the right things, those are just small tunicates that have hitched a ride on the torch. They wont hurt the coral at all.

The white "volcano" thing pionting off the left side, on the stalk, below the tntacles of the coral. I saw a coppepod on there last night, do they make little house or something?

its hard to see in the pic. a sponge or tube worm? what does it feel like?

i'm not touching it!!! I got stung by a coral once, not again. I nearly cracked my glass on that one, and the time the Nemo the not so friendly clown started chewing on my arm!:helm2:

To me, it looks like white sponge growing on the torch skeleton. Try peeling it off. If it's spongy and comes off, then, well, it's a sponge.

:fechten2:OK, I touched it, it's soft, the clear looking thing. Thats a sponge? I thought a sponge was yellow and worked at the Crusty Crab

with square pants :)

sponges come in thousands of shapes and sizes. I wouldn't worry about it, sponges are good for your tank. congratulations!
