What Do Bluespotted Watchman Gobies Do?

So I'm trying to decide on what goby I'll be getting for my tank. I really like this one, but it doesn't say that it sandshifts or forms relationships with pistol shrimp. But isn't that why it's called a watchman goby, because it does the thing with the shrimp?

So does it do anything special or is it just like any other ordinary fish?

It's cool that they got a matching pistol shrimp. I've never seen one that color.
