yellow tang and spot banded butterfly compatible?

I was wondering if I can put my small yellow tang in my 55 gallon tank with my spot banded butterfly?

Your tank is small for either much less both. I would not add it. Even when they are small they need room to do their thing.

That is useful information----If I were you I would wait until you get the 125g cycled then purchase the yellow tang and add them both at the same time to the larger tank.
