I'm thinking of buying an RO DI filter. I ran across this on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...337497773&rd=1
What is your thinking on buying used units? Can you just hook it up in the
Laundry room and then be able to make saltwater all day?

Thanks for the help

I forgot to mention that I will only be using this for my 46 g tank. I
don't know if that makes much of a difference in deciding what unit to buy.
I also know that above unit is new, but there is another 75gpd unit that is
for sale and it is used.

Thanks again for all of the great advice

You can make RO/DI water all day- mix the salt in after <g>.
If you are buying used I would definitely replace all the cartridges and the
membrane- so new would probably be equal as far as cost.

I am not familiar with refillable DI resin- my unit uses cartridges for DI.
