I actually only put in around 8-9lbs, the piece which was not cured is about 4-5lbs maybe. I bought the test strips which test nitrate, ph, ammonia, hardness etc. all on the same strip, unfortunatly the box shows the shade of color each test should be in comparison to the strip placed in water...
