Hmm. If you can get your salt in there you might be able to cycle your tank with some partially cured live rock. I duno tho I'm still kinda new myself. lol What do the rest of you think? LR good to start a cycle in a new tank?

Hmm. no slime. i pulled out a few small pieces of the CC and felt it. No slime. Matter of fact, I can't scrape the rust color off either. It's almost as if my crushed coral is transforming or changing color. weird.

Hmm. Once you manage to get fish into the tank, how do you keep them from eating ALL of the bugs? you'd think that they would completely wipe them out.

Hmm. Well, for flow, I have a marineland biowheel 350 in a 30 gal tank. My tank has been set up for probably 3 weeks now. no fish. I have one pound of live rock and I turn my light on usually all day, and off at night. My water hasn't been changed yet and my filters haven't been replaced...

Stupid lfs. That's really a ripoff that somebody would sell you something to kill all your fish just to get you back in the store. If in fact that really is the case anyway. Just the thought of it bugs me tho. Ripoff
