So there isn't a difference between the power compact bulbs compared to the Super High Output Compact Florence Lights?

Only other fish in there is a snowflake eel and eats frozen silversides. So I'll work on getting the lion to eat um too.

Ok i got a fuzzy dwarf lionfish (name is Simba) bout a week ago. Been feeding him ghost shrimp and he seems to love um. So i set up a 10 gal tank just to put ghost shrimp in to feed the lionfish. I guess what my ? is what can i feed the ghost shrimp that will make them better for the Lionfish?

any experience with these?

Ok i pulled half the water out and mixed it with the salt last night and put it in the tank this morning. when i got home form work i turned on the skimmer and poof it is working. i didnt think that the salt in the water made that big of a difference but i know now that it does. Can someone tell...

So just go ahead and put salt in there the water and let it dissolve and then try the skimmer in a couple days? I know that skimmers arent used for freshwater just didnt know that they wont work in freshwater.

airline not kinked or dirty. ive tightened everything as tight as i could get it without cracking anything and still no bubbles probably gnna call manufacturer tom.

o rings are are there and where they supposed to be and still no bubbles

there is no sand no fish no anything in the tank other then heater circulation pump and thermometer

its tap water that doesnt have any salt in it. wanted to make sure everything was running well before i put salt in there

I have a Reef Octotus BH-1000 HOB skimmer. its been running for about 3 weeks on a little ten gallon tank to break it in. Went today to move it to a 55 gallon tank and now it is producing very little bubbles nowhere near enough to make bubbles go up in the collection cup. I have taken it apart...

Dont apologize for jacking the thread looking for info on this company and you gave it to me thank you and sorry to hear about your experience with them. Maybe it would be better for me to just wait till i get to Flo-rida and just go by there and pick it up and scrap the whole shipping idea.
