    Refractometer Question

    Measuring with a refractometer can be more accurate than using a swing hydrometer. Once you measure in specific gravity you'll see it's easier than measuring salility since you can get more precise readings. Hope this helps, at our facility we use refractometers.

    Hmm, do you have a picture of the marks? If your clowns had the same problem earlier it may be ich, but normally ich leaves small white marks not like how you've described.

    First pic is a bit fuzzy to be sure. The second seens to be a Discosoma Carlgreni mushroom. The third and fourth are Vice Zoanthids or Palythoa Grandis . Hope that helps.

    Appears you may have a fungus growing on your polyps. Our aquarist suggests using a chemical soak to treat the infection, such as coral revive, for about five minutes, or a product similar to it. If that doesn't help, hydrogen peroxide is another option as mentioned by lilmatty5dimes. Hope...
