I must have gotten lucky and purchased a animnated one...lol Mine actually comes to the glass when I go near the tank. And is right there front and center at feeding time. and like vonjankmon said mine loves the frozen brine and mysis shrimp as well.

funny thing is I have a clownfish that isnt interested in him at all...... but he has made friends with a red leg hermit crab.....

he put himself here the day after I bought him and been there every since, I have 4, 6500 compacts, 2 t8"s one 50/50 actinic, I felt like he was doing good but wanted some feedback from others with more experience. :D

he's my first one and I've only had him for 3 weeks so just wanted to be safe

HI everyone, sorry I havent been here in a while, Hope everyones tanks are going well. I'm trying to decide if my LTA is happy and healthy but I'm unsure. Here are a couple pics, what do you guys think?

after looking up both of these, I cant find a picture that really looks like this. this to me resembles some kind of filter coming out of a tube, with clear tentacles on the end.... its probably about an inch long was long enough for me to see and make me hook up my digital scope to zoom in to...

when I say it closes, it does the same thing polyps do when something touches them.

lol..... to funny......, no I'm not that crazy....lol...yet, I have long thin tube thingy I call it my poker... whenever I find something new I poke it to see what it does.

I'm assuming this is moving, its staying on the same rock but has been in a different spot each of the past 3 days..... if it helps any it closes up when I poke it.

found this little guy roaming around a piece of live rock. he hasnt found a place to settle just yet. I had to use my digital microscope projected onto a tv screen to get a decent pic of it. I have no idea what it is am hoping its good.... :bounce:

Thanks everyone for the welcome, I am on Reefcentral Rufio, fishlore, and reef sanctuary, there's so much info to be had that I'm all over the place searching everytime I find something new in my tank...
