i'm not sure how those things work, not many people use de-nitrifiers. suffecient amounts of live rock, a good skimmer, and regular water changes should be enough IMO. how high are your nitrates? do you have a fish only, or a reef tank? this will help determine where your nitrate levels should...

very nice setup. out of curiosity, since you are in england, is that 100 imperial gallons? or us gallons? which is greater? by comparing the size of the fish (if they are grown) that tank looks huge.

do a search for foramorafins (spelling?) there are tons of different types of them. they are harmless filter feeders.

I wouldn't worry too much about calcium supplementation at first. just wait and see what the demand will be. you may be surprised at how little the calcium drops between water changes. I know I was. my 55 gallon is now sps dominant, with a couple colonies and a ton of frags, a few lps and lots...

sorry, I don't know of any great news about carpet anemones. they have been known to eat there host clown. with most anemones, proper lighting and a secure place to put their foot will keep them from moving around.
