Hey guys and gals! Long time. Hope everyone is doing ok. Quick update: everything is dead except some mushrooms fish and shrimp. Purewaterclub.com sold me a broke water filter and refused to replace it so for the past 6 months I have been going thru odds and ends trying to get water change...

Just logged in to let everyone know about purewaterclub.com's terrible customer service. They sent me a broken water filter and started ignoring my emails as soon as they realized I wanted a refund. :frustrat:

I did buy the RODI from that place for like 60$ and its been working great. Still makes 0 tds water. By heavy dosing kent magnesium I was able to kill off the byropsis. However, forward to about a month after it died and its starting to grow back. Also, there's another big dilemma. I had...

Same with mine. If you swirl it around before u do a water change it will help clean it up a bit.

Is it safe to take off the glass top with the fish I have? I have a green banded goby, 2 clowns, and a mandarin. Lately its been hard to keep the temp down and I also just find it more aesthetically pleasing without the glass top. However, I can never convince myself to take the top off in fear...
