i just now tonight found a must be 3 legged little star fish bage color and looks like a fourth leg is generating but danm i know about stuff in live rock but star fish? it's got to be cause looks just like it. i just need to know if that is the way they start out?

yep just like i thought now the trochus snail was found dead 2 days ago after the reef snail let go of it. so i guess i will have to stick to those since they have not died yet

yeah i got one of those 2 weeks ago and now today that i got back from the field i see a reef snail and the trochus stuck together so i guess i got to wait and find out wich on is the one that will kick the bucket.

i think i got one too cause i just noticed a week ago that it looks like two little rabbit ears just moving from side to side and peeking from one hole to another. i haven't been able to see the whole thing out but the only color on it is white. don't hear any clicking sound so far but anyways...

hmmm check your lights and let them get used to their new home. water is good but new home takes time unless u have a huma trigger and he'll be just fine since that's an example a of a hardy specimen.

well i wouldn't mind giving up on snails but the green stuff on all the glass walls are not going to be taken out by a tang so what i need to do is just to keep the same kind of snail wich have not died on me yet and quit on the turbos cause they eat alot but they are giving up on me too soon

yeah get a huma huma trigger they are user friendly with water quality and they colorfull 2 :twocents:

yeah well thanx for the imput i'll just keep looking it up to see what's up with that but all i read and hear is metal halide lighting only for these but since i have only a 29 gallon maybe 65w for this size of tank will make up for it.

i'm interested in a clam for my 29 banger and i would like to know if there is a kind of clam that would do well in this tank with 2 small percula clowns, 1 turbo snail, 40 pounds of live rock and 65w of 50 50 compact lighting. with a current good water quality :question:
