24" AquaticLife T5 HO Dual Lamp Light Fixtures fit a 30" 20gal tank. I cant afford to blow 100 bucks right now and have to go from my 45gal tank to a 20gal.
Any suggestions how to make it extend to fit? thx in advance!!
He knew what i ment and the girl who i bought from was in back and was looking at him like wtf?? wonder if he gets kickback from rods lol
He also told me not to get rid of power filter i had that he never heard of not having a power filter in a tank. And tank was way better off once i ditched...
I have 2 percular clowns a royal gramma and two large long tentacle anemones in my 40 gal tank.
over last two years i have been feeding them Rods frozen food. The orange packaged one. Fish have done fine but it always seems like what they actually eat out of it isnt much. Pieces seem very small...
would it be feasible to do half new water and half old water....sorta like a large water change? lights should be good i just replaced all the bulbs last month. I just hope it fits. And will the skimmer i have which is rated for 75 gallon tank be to much for a 20 gallon?
i was debating it..wasnt sure if i would be able to just transfer them or not...once the rock and sand are in and settled can i just move everything over? or should i get the tank fully established with lights and skimmer?
The size should be better since its longer..more room to swim apposed to up and down. Fish are good together and havent had any issues. Just dont think anemones will live. That is my major concern.
I have to free up space in the room my 40 gallon cube tank is. I am gonna convert it to a rectangle 20gallon. I am concerned though about my inhabitants.
I am gonna start it as a new tank and was going to slowly introduce my current inhabitants to it. I have 2 false percula clowns that have...
What and how are you feeding it?
I switch between mysis shrimp and silversides. I give them cut up pieces, just make sure they arent too big otherwise they will spit em back up after a while. My CBS doesnt mess with it anymore and the anemones curl up fast once i put a piece in there tentacles...
I have had a major issue with bubble algea and cynao. So i have finally said heck with it and have given my tank a major cleaning and re organizing. Well with this i founs in the back side of the largest rock i have completely covered with cyano and bubble algea. Explains why it kept coming...
bulbs need replacing and getting that fixed soon T5HO. nitrates still a bit high 5ppm working on it with water changes as well as Ph which is low at 7.8.
Its eating just fine and hosted by my clowns. Havent seen any changes in it really except the white bands more pronounced. Hasent moved either.
