    water pump to strong?

The pump is 584GPH i dont know the overflow rating, but is has a 1" Utube and i think it is not overflowing because the pump gets to a point where it sucks water and air. and my sump water level is about 2-3'' above the pump (when not working)

    water pump to strong?

i have an issue here i dont know how to fix. =S i think my pump is returning water to fast. it will finish the sump water until it sucks air+water creating a ton of bubbles in the tank. i tried downgrading the pump, but that didnt work.. am i doing something wrong??

I Just moved out my old house and sold my 90G Freshwater aquarium to the next owner. so I took this opportunity to start with saltwater because it was something I have always wanted to do. but after gathering information i became overwhelmed, there's a TON to care for in a saltwater aquarium...
