    LED hurting my corals

    i would suggest starting all the corals at the sand bed, or if you have manuel control dim your lights or combination of both.. Then slowly move the corals up each week as they adjust. Most likely,, they weren't adjusted to the brightness of the light.

    i also heard daylight white lights are the best. i currently run a 150 metal halide. i think i may go to using led's with mostly whites and some blues.

    got mostly zoas in my tank. run a 30 gallon with 150 watt metal halide, planning to switch to led's soon though. going to keep mostly whites and blue lights. not sure how many watts for 30 gallon but maybe 150 with mostly whites and some blues.
