    Making tank rimless?

A 10 gl is no problem but a 90 I doubt that very much. Ok maybe a sump but not a full tank, A 10 isn't really livin on the edge LOL

What are some good starting corals?

It really depends on your plans and the size of your display, Leathers,Mushrooms,Zoas,Palys They are all gonna grow quickly and may dominate your tank area. I'd go for LPS like Torch, Frog Spawn, Acans, Brains Cynarina, Bubbles there are so many.Read about there requirerments

How Vital is RO/DI water for a Reef Tank?

RO/DI is the most important part of your Reef. Water quality is every thing. Buying RO water from a store still has TDS in it. You want 0 Tds to eliminate algea blooms. For a couple of hundred bucks it's a gimme. Plus you don't have to carry jugs from your car.

    Sand Sifter on the Glass

I agree, it's looking for food and not finding it. They eat up your live sand and when there's no more then they die. I would not put one in my tank. I've already made that mistake.

which is better at eating pest

Sixlines are the way I'd go, they are great at eating up the bad stuff, They won't bother snails or Hermits and they stay pretty small.

    Seeding Rock

I tested the tank this morning and I didn't add anything to get the cycle going and to my surprize I have an Ammonia reading of .50. I guess there was some die off on the rock after all

I may go LED in the future but that's it, I've got lots of things to get, like a Kalk reactor, Upgrade the skimmer and return pump maybe set-up a Frag and a Quarantine tank. I used to sell Frags and did very well and the best thing is the people you meet. Lots of fun.
