probably im am curently not using this set up beaces wen i made the sump i used the rong silicone and killed alot of my fish MAKE SURE YOU USE AQUARIUM SAFE SILICONE that idea might work just test it in a trash can first

I added a sump with the wrong silicone, Which caused the crash. And now I cycled a completely different tank.

my tank crashed and now i only have one of my clowns left can i put another clown in with him in the new tank or is that a no go?

there in a 20 gallon QT half full i have to recycle my 37 so what do i do with my fish in that time

silicone i used for my sump it must have had anti microbial in it which killed my bacteria culture and made my tank toxic ammonia spiked probably the nitrites to if you make a sump make sure you use aquarium safe!!
