Have had great luck with my Orange Diamondhead goby, no issues with him at all. He filters a lot of sand, eats stray food, fills in and re-digs his hole everynight... Had him for 8-9 months now...

He will go back to the store when he starts to outgrow the tank, unless I step to a 250+ in a year, just wanted a bit of color in my tank... Hes already eating frozen food... No name yet though..

Got a new lil buddy today..... Can anyone ID him? I have yet to see anyone with one and thought he would be a neat addition....

I have (2) #4's in my tank, opposite ends, give great flow, gonna add 2 more #2's in a few days...

Never put silicone on the bulkheads. It will fail eventually. Just use the rubber gaskets that came with it and you will be good. Make sure the gasket in on the inside part of the tank.. The bulkhead nut should be on the dry side..

scrapped it, my durso works better than the HGB... Has to do with the larger drain I am thinking... Did a little modding with the durso and it works ok now..

Every tank is different.. Some can have very little fish and keep the paramaters in check, others can have a ton of fish and never have a single issue with nitrates or crazy water parameters. Like biff said, let your water tell you when to stop adding...

Take a look at the Potters Wrasse. Saw some at my LFS, hesitated buying one, went back,they was gone... :disappoin They are a good looking fish :sfish: btw, tank looks awesome, I dig the light, a lil different than the norm.. different in a good way.. :)

I have been thru like 5 caps on my durso, it seems when I get the right size hole/holes in the cap, it works ok for a few days, then gets noisy again.... Gonna try building the HGB like Newport..
