How is it going with catching the fish?

Remove the starfish from the tank and cut off the bad tenticals, it will regenerate these. Just about cutting him in half. Reserach this while you think about it for your particular starfish. Good luck

Welcome to the site, Saloli, I used to keep my boat in your neck of the woods in Sue Creek. Now I have the water (Aquarium) at my house and saves me a hour trip from Hanover, Pa. Good deal on the snails. My triggerfish decided that no snail needs to go uneatten.

For this type project and the fact that my unit is elevated on a stand, it equals the input rate. Both hoses are 1/2 in., and that might have a bearing on the flow. By the way the first cleaning took about three minutes and started the unit up again without a hitch.

Doing my first cleaning in the morning, screen is covered pretty much, I see a difference in the amount of brown algae covering the white PVC return from my sump. Very impressive.

Well, I believe this is what is causing the problem, each time I turn on the three MH, within a hour or so the water gets cloudy. I have read that the bulbs may need changed and I'm at a point that I need to do a water change in the cycling process, tank is just over a month old. Water numbers...
