Thanks for the suggestions... I down graded from a coralife 1300 gph to 750 gph powerhead and now i dont see any sand drifting... Tank looks better now that theres no sand drifting all over the place... Thanks again everyone...

I just switched my gravel to carib sea aragonite sand. 1 inch sandbed to help bring down my Nitrates... Since I switched to sand no matter where I place my circulator, the sand drifts in the tank and blows onto the rocks... Is this normal for new sand,or does it take time for the sand to settle...

Would you know any DIY sites that show step by step details on how to put it together... lfs cost would be $450.00 for complete setup, and like i said I dont know what Im doing here as far as putting one together...Need sump setup for dummies i guess!! lol

Stumped on the Sump!! I need some advice where as i'm still kinda NEW to this,and hoped i can find someone with experience with this. Karen - I wasnt there in 2004 and not sure what was going on there at that time...I dont codone people taking starfish from the ocean and killing them either...The one i found there this year was half dead and was'nt sure if he make it...I brought him home and he seems to be doing alot...

Also known as The Astropecten articulatus. I had this starfish for about 2 and half weeks now. He seems pretty active moving around,but I noticed that he sifts he way into the sand,and would stay there for a day...Then moves to another spot and buries himself again. I tried to feed him mysis...

Dose anyone have any information on this type of starfish as far as it eating habits and How much to feed it? I know they locate off the coast of N.C. and North Florida.It has a Purple back with a orange outline.. Any information would be helpful... Thanks!
