yes .. the pump connected correctly ..after 2 days giving problem but today morning i found the skimmer running better and there is no overflow in the collection cup ... i keep monitoring ...

I just bought mini protein skimmer 115 and set up as per instruction in my reef tank . I found the water filled up within 10 min in the collection cup . I already adjust the flow control knob and height but doesn't work . I read some of the article post about this problem but i still didn't...

I just set up reef aquarium (abt 1 month ) and i found that the live sand in my aquarium is too much about 6" . is it ok or shoud i take the sand to 2" ? Pls advise
