Ok this might be a dumb question but I am going to ask anyway. I have a Reef Octopus skimmer that's not a HOB. I don't have a sump set up but was wondering is it possible to place the skimmer in my tank for a week or so until I get things set up? will it work? Thanks Dave

Well I woke up this morning to find my beautiful Yellow Tang laying on the carpet next to my tank dead. He obviously jumped out of the tank sometime during the night. I never expected him to jump and he rarely came to the surface. He was the first fish I got when I bought my tank. RIP little buddy.

Sorry but I didnt know what forum to put this into. My question is can I take live sand from my tank and give some to a friend of mine for his tank. He currently has gravel, its a small Fluval cube 5-8 gallons maybe. Thanks Dave

so i shouldnt worry to much about the cloudy water?

My filter is not working right now. I cleaned the damn thing and i have got very little water preasure.

obviously its going to be cloudy, when can I add the fish
