    Just wondering has anyone ever used the IceCap Metal Halide bulbs....I have always used the Coralife or Current 150w 14k for my 150 reef tank but they are increasingly hard to find ...a LFS in my area has these in stock and have never used these...thanks in advance for any help.

    Stray Voltage Death

    Do you think a grounding probe helps or hurts? I just read an article that stated that by adding a grounding plug you actually give the CURRENT a pathway to run through your tank, as you know the amps are the villian not the voltage...so now I'm not sure. TKS

    This is also in my 65 that has only been up and running for a couple of months, not my 150. I have Tunze powerheads in my 150, but have now added a grounding probe to the 65 as well. Thanks again for the info.

    Lost my Regal Angel last night to stray voltage from 2 NEW Koralia 750 pwr heads that had only been in my tank for about 7 hours....had nearly 7 volts being discharged into the water...found this out a little too late...hope this post helps others to Always check a new pwr head before adding it...

    Amn is still around 0.20 or so using a new API test kit..got some good advice from fastrd last wk and have left it alone but it is taking a long time to come down..haven"t done any more water chgs since last tues and thurs which were 30 gal each..probly added fish way too early I'm sure but now...

    quite a bit for a 65 I guess....3 or 4 pcs of base rock that wasnt cured but several pcs of live that had coraline plus a piece of tonga that weighed 16 lbs...everyone seems to doing fine but just trying to be cautious....should I stop the stability and prime? Thanks
