I made one out of pvc. I used a 1" pipe. I think I heard that can do about 300 gph but I'm not positive. My pump is 260 minus whatever a 4' head does to it.

i bought a peppermint shimp to eat my aiptasia. one hour after putting it in the tank the aiptasia ate the shrimp. haha, just my luck.

so I fed my lawnmower blennie a seaweed sheet today and now i have chunks floatin everywhere. is there some trick to this that I'm too stupid to figure out?

Me being the genius I am I moved my circ pump, walked back 5 mins later after changing my boys diaper and now I got a cloudy tank and a hole im my sand. LoL. I amaze myself sometimes.

Ok, I set up my tank with live sand and cured live rock. Put some shrimp in there. After a week there was no ammonia spike. I added a few hermit crabs and a couple snails. Still nothing. I'm only at week 3 but all my levels look good. Is it possible that it didn't really show a cycle...
