He is alive, it has 2 tentacles, 2 tiny claws longer then tentacles. It's head is triangular in shape and that's all you can see sticking out of the whitish tube(pictured). When feeding it will suck on the flow you can see it's mouth open and shout under 35x microscope.

Hey people just noticed my female Sexy looks pregnant. How do I keep the ??? from becoming food? Can I separate/isolate her in something in the tank? I don't have any other SW tanks or sump. Pretty cool though :)

I currently have a skunk cleaner, a peppermint, 2 sexy and 1 pistol w/wacthman all co-excisting fine in a 9 gallon nano. Been several months.

Hi gang anyone know what these curled up snails on my class are? They are silver w/red inside stripe, and have small fine red hairs in the openings.

Had the LFS check my water before I bought it. They said it was fine. Thats 2 Pineapple shrimps in 2 days. They said the first one, being smaller, was stressed out by my much larger skunk cleaner due to the Nano size tank.Lasted 7 hours. I have a kinds of life in my tank, pods, snails, craps...

Just brought home a pineapple shrimp after watching it closely...wait just staggered....it was being held on to by what I've been told are Ball anemones. This anemone had a grip on the body of the shrimp. I separated them and the shrimp is now lethargic, have dead, on it's side. Been told Ball...

TY Nick...so you think it is cyano on the glass? The Carline on the LR is apparently a good thing, yes? So if I black out for three days is that no feeding also? :frustrat:

Hi Salt_for_ brians, great link thanks, Have determined through Little_fishes expert help to others that I have Coraline on my LR, not slimy, won't scratch off buy touch. But the dusty looking red/maroon stuff on the back class I don't know yet. Not in any of the pics in Nuisance algae...

I was told cyano is stringy and goewey. CAn I just clean the back class? Doesn't look like something anything will eat like a red leg crap which are supposed to eat cyano? The snails are going over it but not eating it.

Hi Gang, where I once hd normal brown diatoms I know have red w/some brown mixed in. Not cyano, not stringy no form at all looks just like grown diatoms but red. LS sand is fine, no discoloration. Any clues and hoe to get ride of it. BTW, only on back class.

I know this thread is old but ...are there any 'bad' species of bristle worms? LFS guy said if it was a solid one color red/pink they were bad for your reef?

Which means....? So you are very pleased does the job and easy to hook-up to the kitchen faucet? Have you had it long enough to see its filters performance and life span? Have you purchased any replacement filters yet? How much where they?
