The valve i used is from home depot in the plumbing dept. Look for the brand name 'watts' and its the A-42 valve its like $6.47 or something like that

Shrimp is out and today the amonia went down and the nitrates jumped up to 2.0

I just bought a valve from home depot and it works 100% better , google seaclone mods and it will be there, being my first skimmer and after a week of messing with the plastic valve i gave in and tried the valve mods and it works great now.

Right now i have 2 maxi jet 1200 in my 46 gallon bow front tank i would like to switch these over to korolias how many would i need for adaquite flow and what model thanks

Started cycling a new tank last week and the amonia has taken a huge spike since then. Right now its anywhere between 4.0 and 8.0 . Reason i say between is because the tests resaults color can go either way its a dark greenish blue. My question is when do i remove the shrimp? I would think...
