Great tank and all, but no matter how experianced you have you can't stretch the rules but so much. 18 or more fish in a 120 is a lot not mentioning that you need a much bigger tank for the vlamingi and hippo tang.

I've had a tuxedo urchin in my tank for a few weeks now and it seems to be slowly deteriorating. He hasn't been moving around much lately. Water quality is perfect (0 nitrate, 0 phosphate), and I do have some hair algae. I tried to feed him an algae sheet and he decided to wear it instead of eat...

One of aquatic illumination SOL units would work well over a tank that size. If you want something cheaper you can contact this place: http://fin-sanity.com/ - I have one of their fixtures and it does a really good job for the price. Do you have any details on your clownfish? Is he eating well...

Lately the vortechs (I've been using on my 75 for the time being), have been going in to night mode on their own every once and a while. :ugh: But it also just happens that those days are the same days I've turned on the radion. Even on the other side of the house... :shock:

If you want a 6.5k bulb I'd say you should replace the 10k bulb with it. I'm guessing that with only 8 blue LEDs the marineland LEDs are a bit on the white side... And if you want you can put a purple or royal blue bulb in place of the blue you have.

Yah one wouldn't be nearly enough. But from what I've heard the radions are a bit more powerful output wise than SOLs so you'd be getting more from two radions.
