    Hippo tang in a 65?

If you can find one that is really small, about 1.5 inches you'll be fine for a year or two. I have a hippo tang in my 55 gallon that is in the 1.5" range and he is just fine. I will pull him out when he grows. Just make sure you are feeding algae sheets.

    Troubled Blue Tang

Thanks for the tip. It's just weird because I have had 3 tangs in the past and they all ate off the clip, however this is my first blue tang.

    Troubled Blue Tang

My blue tang will not eat algae sheets off the clip. He is eating meaty foods like a champ but can't get him to eat algae. I have had him for about 3 weeks and I am getting worried about his health because the lack of algae.

    Brown wafer algae

I'd rather risk my fish versus risking my corals. I have already had 3 corals over taken by this algae. (1) ORA joe the coral= 50$ (2) ORA blue voodoo stag=50$ (3) nice big hammer coral= 40$ and my Purple ORA cap is at risk. This is the only algae I have seen to over take an SPS coral. Screw the...

    Brown wafer algae

Well, mine is getting out of control, I need to do something about it. I have heard good success stories with sally light foot crabs. The only other animal that eats it is naso tangs. My tank isn't big enough, so the SLF is my choice of weapon.
