still lookin over my options.. i might just buy a 30 bowfront tank and stand locally taht has a nice lighting setup.. its cheap, and i can slowly save money to start it up.. id LOVE to do this all my own from the ground up.. i imagine that sense of satisfaction is GREAT

my issue mentally is that i really wish i could do all new from teh start, but i just cant swing LR and LS money on top of everything... idk..... im still thinking... almost just bought a JBJ 28 gallon HQI setup on teh old credit card just now outta frustration LOL

so just get water ready .... then take out the correct amount and replace it with new? sorry, im dumb with this stuff LOL and this is 1 time a week.. the couple that has the tank now says they are doing water changes once a month, but that didnt seem to be enough to me

hmmm idk why the water changes scare me.. perhaps cause i dont know enough LOL what all is involved and what do i have to watch out for?

24 = less stable but easier to manage LOL.. that seems odd... how often do i need to do water changes, and how many gallons do you think?

chaeto will work nicely in place of the bioballs from what i read... and i can get a low wattage clip on light at home depot or something i guess... you guys REALLY have me wantin to get the 24.. and do it up NICELY
