i know what you are talking about. if it's fish, then not really. usually the algae eating fish require an algae diet or they will get sick. and the ones that dont require special algae diets wont eat the kind of algae you would like them to eat. go with inverts. hermits, snails, etc.

im betting that it's either unhealthy fish from the store or acclimation. drip acclimation is the best. ive seen fish just chilling like it was nothing in aquariums with high nitrates lol

i reread the article. how they do it is that they make the fluorescent part of a coral touch the broken or fragmented part of another coral. the protein will then spread throughout the coral. something like that. it's a really good read guys. it's not bad as it sounds. i know i know key word...
