@kyle, coming soon close ups.
@Biff, about the size of a silver dollar when I put it in my tank
@Jax, thanks, his name is ottis, I can't believe he will be five this year! yikes...
Greetings Reefers,
Well I'm stuck again trying to research and it seems you can find anything online. Knowing that these forums are a buffet of experience and knowledge I once again come to you with a two stage question. My 55gal. has power compacts and I want to know if there are...
Yeah he just hangs around all day but at night time he cruises the top of the tank back and forth all night. He is the only fish that was still alive when I got the tank from a freind who didn't take good care of it. He survived the nuclear winter.
Well so far so good, the dominos have claimed a nice spot under a rock shelf on the opposite side of the tank from the yellowtails hang out. I didn't mention that the yellowtail is at least twice as big as the larger domino. They aren't messing with each other at all any more. The only other...
Just added two domino damsels after I rearranged all my rock and coral. I'm hoping they will teach the yellow tailed damsel some manners. I know historically damsels don't like damsels but just like alot of other common traits in fish, it doesn't apply to 100% of them. They're actually doing...
Agree that the dark substrate makes the fish pop! Looks like plenty of room and the clown will get slapped in the face by the tang if he presses his luck too many times. Kinda like when a cat finally turns around and pops a dog in the nose with its claws, that tang has a weapon of its own and it...
This is what I kind of figured, please excuse my ignorance. Upon closer examination I now have three or four with eggs. I'm diggin the fact that my ecosystem is producing some more of its food. When my greenstar polyps spawned it was fun watching the fish dart around eating it. Every once in a...
Ok I'm 99% sure one of my pepp shrimp is carrying a clutch of eggs. If so how likely is it that any of the young will survive? Not too many fish in the tank at the time, a pajama and a blue tail damsel. There is a coral banded shrimp and ten other pepp shrimp adults. I'm sure the damsel will...
