    Xenia help

    So it looks good today...still have the floor lamp on it and figured out a way to modify the hood. Still has that green stuff at the base, so far no one is commenting on what the heck that is. And it still is not pulseing but it doesnt look like it is dying anymore either. Shaz

    The fixture I am looking at for this has a reflector...it is also from foster n smith I will see if I can find a pic of it again. Maybe I should back off to a 40 watt...or wont that be enough? Shaz

    so 96 isnt going to be too much? Currently since the eclipse only has 13 watts and my Xenia was haveing issues...see thread. I added a floor lamp with a flourescent bulb with 27 watts shineing right through the front of the tank onto the xenia. Seems to be doing better...getting brown algea...

    we already figured that out... We are getting the fixture that goes with it...and I believe it has a built in fan. It is going to sit about an inch off of the top of the aquarium so if it does get hot I will just get a fan for cooling computure processors, or use one of my small fans for cooling...

    peanut worm?

    wow...I hope mine dont get that big around right now they are about the size of the tube that holds the ink in a pen. So far I havent seen them stretched out that far. And Yup I am great at crawler picking. Dont get me wrong I like worms, but only where they are supposed to be or where they are...

    well right now they are small and look like the smaller ones in the pic surrounding the bigger one. The move super super slow and dont always have thier strings out in the air like the big one did in the pic. BTW these are in the 12 gallon eclipse with the crappy lighting...Shaz

    ok what do they eat? acctually let me refrase that...I have what I think are two peanut worms...one is totaly greyish in color the other is greyish white with black stripes...when I have seen them out I see only maybe inch or 2 of them. Their head comes from inside out, forms a dot surrounded...
