ok one last ? really, the tank that im prob going to buy said that the bottom of the tank was tempered, and not to drill it?? is it ok to drill a bottom like that or would it be better to drill the back near the bottom where the over flow would be??, im thinking that it would be better to drill...

yeah thats the thing the tank dimensions are 36"W X 16.25"D X 20"H so i dont think that would work

ok heater check, now what about teh RO thingy, what would be a good one to get for a tank of my size, i might of found a good deal on a tank and a stand, a 46 bowfront and the matching stand for $75 i emailed the guy and said that i would take it if it was in good shape

i was actually looking at https://www.livingreefs.com/forums/do-yourself-diy/2892-freshly-finished-sump-design.html and i think that it might jsut work, thats just a 29 g tank and then the baffles were added, doesnt look too hard i figure if im going to be adding the sump and dong it myself...

lol i have no idea how many sections taht i would want, the 3 sections is all you really need isnt it?

does anyone have a plan or anything of how the baffles should be in like a 10 gallon sump?? that means using a 10gallon tank and then just adding baffles, or a 20tall?? **Edit** also im thinking of buying this tank probably not from petco but its the only place that i can find it online atm...

when picking the lighting, im a little confused about what to get, its going to be t5, but what size should i get, the tank says that its like 36" wide, do i get t5's that would be the exact width as the tank or smaller, im also a little confused about how many watts to get, i have heard people...

yeah i agree thats why im planning on buying pretty much everything for a reef style tank, but just going FOWLR and getting used to it and then when i feel comfortable putting in some corals and what noti want to have nice enough lighting for some corals, nothing crazy or anything, probably just...
