    So first I gave him a chunk of food. He seemed to like that and perking up quite a bit. Then I rechecked some tests. Ph 8.2 Alk was 18!!!! What the heck!! I just did a 5 gal water change to help bring it down. I'll test it again in a little while. My bubble tip seems back to normal... Shew!!!

    Right now I have a 46 gallon bowfront but I'm about to upgrade to an 75 gallon soon. Trying to get all on my stuff together. I ordered a custom acrylic sump that should be in soon. I'm pretty excited about it!

    Good lord!!! That's expensive!! @monique!! The kill a watt says I run about 3kwh a day and my rate varies between 11-15cents per kWh for my for me it costs about $10-$14 a month just for my tank!

    So Im contemplating moving from a 46 bowfront to a 75gallon. What would I need to do? could I reuse the sand? Im pretty sure I could reuse the rock. would it start a new cycle? whats the best course of action? I dont have anything yet just starting to plan. thanks for the input Justin
