Any idea what this might be? Just appeared in 20 year old aquarium.... Size is 1/2 of a dime, color purple, no tentacles, but several appendages.

This anemone came in on a piece of live rock I purchased about a month ago. I think it is a type of carpet anemone but not 100% sure. Anyone have any thoughts? When fully open about 7" across.

My mushroom suddenly has white worm like parasites and is receding. What might be causing this? Are the worm things a parasite. Has been in tank for 6 months and growing. Several other types of mushrooms not showing any concerns. Please share suggestions for cause and solution.
