definately a birdsnest ... the plug looks like it might even be an ORA, but it could have been placed on that plug. is it encrusted on the plug ?? you can tell that it is not an acro because it does not have polyps on the very tip of the branches. EVERY acro has a polyp on the tip of every branch.

the first is an ORA tri color Valida, you are correct. the second i have been trying to get a possitive id, but i think it is A. humulis.

the "spider web" looking stuff is probably spaghetti worms, they are good filter feeders for the tank. a clownfish will or will not host. it just depends on the fish. some do and some dont. how long has the tank been set up ?? anemones HAVE to have a matured tank to thrive. i would not add an...

i am talking about where they PULL water through, not where it pushes the water out. if they dont get enough water IN they can not push it out where they are rated to. i use a pretty high calcium salt so i get crazy coralline growth on everything.
