    Thanks. Custom Stand and canopy. I downsized because my 125 was 1. not reef ready 2. too large for my space. IMO reef ready kicks a hang on overflow any day...much easier.

    Suggested heater(s) For 125 g. Reef

    This is my first aquarium this large. I never had to use a heater on my nano cube. So any suggestions?? After looking around I am thinking that I might need 2. I have not yet found one rated for my size tank.

    How Much Water do you loose?

    This makes sense as my tank is 6 feet long and 2 feet wide- that is a lot of exposed surface.

    Thanks to you all!!! This makes me feel better- it is crazy how much water can evaporate in a day!!! I am in South Texas and yes it is very humid here. Sorry about my spelling error. LOOSE!!!HAHA! Yes I know it it "lose"! At least now I know that it is not actually my pump that is working too...

    How often do you test perimeters?

    on my 24 g. never- since my 125 is a new set up i tested it 2 weeks ago when i set it up and yesterday when i did my 1st big water change. everything is great!!!

    This is an important question for me to ask. For a year I have been running a 24 gallon aquarium with very little water loss due to evaporation. I have recently upgraded to a 125 gallon and feel like i am adding water every time I turn around. My sis who also has a 125 gallon says she looses...
