If it isnt getting any bigger I wouldnt worry about it. Usually lumps on fish are infections, but if its just a spot my best guess would be a colour pattern like a freckel.

I had problems with my test kit also. I would put the chemical in and almost instantly the colour would go to blood purple. I tried again and same thing, so I called Hagen (ewww) and they told me apparently if the chemicals are" expired" it can mess up the test. I didt know noxious chemicals in...

Anyone live in Canada that knows a good place to grab live rock for. Near Toronto there are not many LFS that are not being taken over by big companies. The Live Rock we get here is 8$ a pound Yikes! If anyone knows of any online supplier or a LFS near Toronto please let me know :^:
