I have 2 DE halides, one of my cheapo ballasts burned up today. :grumble: What should I get to replace the 2 of them?

How long are these good for? My bulbs are unchanged since April, and I think my colors have dulled a bit. Time to change em? I usually change my halides in the DT every 5-6 months, but this year was my first with T5s. :question:

Happened to stop in at a LFS yesterday and found these beauties: Purple Stylo Frogskin Acro The guy at the store says they'll color up better, let's hope that happens! I guess I got lucky finding the purple stylo, as they were just released from ORA last week, and are in tight supply.

What's the safest/most successful way to frag acans? I have 9 heads on one frag plug, and I want to cut a couple off. Any tips?:question:

It's very shy, I only see it once in a while, so this pic was a tough one to get! I've had it for a week now. Should stay happy all by itself in the 3 gallon picotope, with some nice softies and a hammer to perch on.
