Well,I dont ask questions to much at local fish stores.Mostly kids work there,who have not had tanks themselves long enough for me to ask stuff about.I learned everything I know by trail an error and by listening to other peoples ideas,then I put all of it together in my head,and do what I think...

I guess I have been in my own lil world with my aquarium to long.I have been going through alot of threads here on the forums.Things have come a LONG way since I started mine.I always used to warn people that I hear are starting up a new tank,I tell them it takes years to get it self contained...

That tank brings back memories of mine long ago.No matter what you do,do not rush a tank.Its hard to let a tank sit there 6 months or so without going nuts adding alot of life to it.Yours is looking great so far...:D

Clownfish does that,cleans out area around her "home".I have no real current in the tank,it comes out from sump pump,shoots straight down behind rocks(keeps me from having staginat water back there) and slowly works it way to over flow back to the sump.My stand is home built,made with big doors...

I know...it needs a real cleaning under there!Any volunteers???:shock:

I stopped doing water test years ago.Things dont change much,I have no hair algee anymore,that left about 5 years ago.Its just a very balanced system.Its worked for over 13 years now....:mrgreen: Im just "Lucky"

Yes ,thats his home,theres a yellow tang,Dragonet,wrass,you can see him on the far right of picture,black fin blenny.Theres also a big strawberry crab I see once in a while,some of those little blue legged reef crabs(which are huge now!)I have something in there now that I need help with.There...

Thanks,I bought a rock over 10 years ago,that had about 6 lil mushrooms on it,thats the end result after all those years....:shock: I work ALOT ,so I cannot have to many things going on with it,that may require alot of time.Its nice to come home and drop a piece of frozen fish food in the back...
