You can try CustomInk too. They have a lab where you can customize the design.

The Great Algae Genocide War of 2010….

My thought would be to run the scrubber or the fuge. If you wanted more room, I would lose the fuge (if it's separate). I am running my 110 with just a scrubber and a skimmer and it is doing great. My only concern would be that if you have macro in your fuge, the scrubber is getting the...

    Themed POTM?

    Themed POTM?

Good points above but am I the only one that tires of hosting clownfish pics? I know they are the easiest to take. Perhaps a challenge would bring out the best in our photogs.

The Great Algae Genocide War of 2010….

If you start to see a comeback in spots, go get another power head. Seeing the die off tho, I wouldn't expect it.

The Great Algae Genocide War of 2010….

AG, I have been through all of this before and was ready to put the whole thing up for sale till I figured one of the keys to this out. Algae can't grow where there is flow. I tore out my rocks and all but 1/2" of sand and redid my aquascaping with nothing but large pieces. I also doubled my in...

Nice find james. Crazy huge. Xenia should grow like mad in there. What kind of bulbs are in those halides? You may need to switch them out to get what the plants need.

    Living Reefs T-Shirt Contest!

I like as is also. I will wear it. Wasn't the original intention of this thread to put up some ideas then vote on them? If so, let's put it to a vote and may the best one win. If the shirts sell, do it again and have another vote. Problem solved.

    Living Reefs T-Shirt Contest!

Well dennis, that was basically the idea I had so I vote for that one. No point in drawing one up that looks the same. Great job!

    DIY base rock...a la Garf

I am gonna resurrect this thread. Any updates from people on this? I am thinking about doing this in the spring. I have 2 buckets of small rocks that aren't real useful for aquascaping that I want to use for arches. I am going to use the mix to bond them together. I am going to use a combo of...

    Living Reefs T-Shirt Contest!

Wow, this is great! I just had a great experience ordering t-shirts from CustomInk.com. Using their Lab I tried a few different designs and ultimately found one that worked. If you modify quantities or colors or shirt type (they give you several choices of each), they give you instant quotes to...

    Why???????

I am on my 3rd hippo tang. I bought the first one from a friend, had it for a few mos and it died. Bought another one too young and it didn't make it. Then I swore off buying fish at TFP in Lancaster, PA and stuck exclusively to craigslist. I rescued a foxface and hippo from some guys tank I was...

Photo of the Year -- Vote Here!

I just pushed Catherine to 16. 5 votes over d2's Jan pic. Alexander's blenny in leather was a very close second. Very very close. But in the end, the seahorse is so rare to see. Great pics everyone. When does voting end?

    Frogspawn

Hey Chris. I have the same type of coral and experienced the same thing. Flow and light could be factors, although mine took a few days to get used to the new situation. Mine is in a moderate to low flow area and about the same distance from my 175 w MH. When it gets fully accustomed, those...

    Lots more questions.

I have found that while snails stick to the glass and feed from that algae, an algae scraper does a much better job on the glass and hermits do alot better job on the rocks. I have had both and am done with snails. That is my personal opinion. A lot of others like snails. For my tank and rocks...
