what foods did you feed, frozen, or fresh food for the puffer and other fish? (illness from the food?) when was the last time you changed the substrate on that bucket filter?(nitrates released?) how old are your test kits? any stray voltage or copper introduced? test for copper

Remove extra growth of cheato once in a while so it can grow back. Also it's a way of exporting nutrients when you remove the excess.

you're most likely going to get a small cycle from any tank move. it'll get better with time. I'm not sure if those corals will survive

I don't target feed zoas or any coral since I don't have sun coral or anything that need target feeding.

I guess genetic diversity has to happen somewhere. this was like the 5th child shroom spawned and the first couple looked normal.my other guess would have been color mutations from sexual reproduction with a different colored shroom in my tank.

I'd like to see hermits that can clean the sides of my tank. They just don't clean the most visible spots. Sure they're great at scavenging but for any algae I like snails better.

one of mine actually moved away from the light and into an area with shade while another one like the lights just fine.

You talking about just moonlights then you don't need much. If you wanted LED lighting to replace T5 or something then I don't know, there's too many unknowns right now because LEDs aren't all equal.
